St. George Location

Bret is a native Utahan and belongs to a number of community associations. He currently serves on the Washington County Board of Realtors Education Committee and as a Director on the Commercial Marketing Group of Southern Utah. Bret is a Certified (CE) Continuing Education Instructor accredited by the Utah Division of Real Estate and Nevada Division of Real Estate. He frequently teaches courses for Realtors, Escrow Officers and Financial advisors on the benefits of 1031 exchanges.

Bret received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from the University of Utah, and an Associates Degree in Business Management. He has amassed 12 years of Marketing and Sales experience as both a business owner and in management positions throughout his career. Bret owned and operated a successful home healthcare business in Utah. He also owned a national business consulting firm, focusing on assisting start-up companies. He sold his home health care and consulting businesses in August 2005 to focus on real estate investing and the fascinating 1031 exchange industry.

Bret has many interests and enjoys investing, golf, fishing, cycling, skiing, boating, and competing in triathlons. He lived in India from 1995 to 1997 while participating in volunteer church work. He is excited to call St. George his home, with Ashley, his wife of 9 years, and their three children, Makenna, Jake and Chloe.
