Austin Location

Doug is a native Texan and belongs to a number of community associations. He currently serves on the board of the Real Estate Council of Austin and is a member of the Central Texas Commercial Brokers. Doug received a degree in both History and English from the University of Texas and has over 14 years of Real Estate and Escrow experience.

In 2003, Doug became one of the first members of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA) to receive his Certified Exchange Specialist designation. He is also a MCE instructor accredited by the Texas Real Estate Commission and an instructor for the Texas Department of Insurance. He frequently teaches courses for Realtors, Escrow Officers and Financial advisors on the benefits of 1031 exchanges.

Doug lives in Austin with his wife,  and their two children.. Doug is an avid golfer and also enjoys running, hunting and fishing.
